Kõue Manor is a place that has stories to tell throughout the centuries and is full of discoveries - a place where history, nature, art, and architecture have blended into a wonderful and unique whole. Kõue Manor is a very unique place in the Estonian manor landscape - behind the seemingly gentle exterior of the manor lies a colorful, bold, emotional, and full-of-opportunities interior.
The unique and distinctive Kõue Manor is one of the oldest manors in Estonia and is strongly linked to Estonian history. The first references to the manor date back to the mid-13th century, but the treasure finds in the surroundings of the manor confirm its Viking-age history.
Throughout history, Kõue Manor has had several owners and has been home to many colorful personalities, one of the most famous being the world-famous explorer and navigator Otto von Kotzebue. All people associated with the manor have left their mark - now there is a unique opportunity for you to write your own story in the next chapter of Kõue Manor.
The manor complex includes a Baroque main building, a working horse stable, a stable-coach house, a garden pavilion, a boiler house, a governor's house, and a barn, the last two of which are still awaiting renovation. The manor has a plot of land of nearly 18 hectares, of which about 9 hectares is forest.
The renovated buildings of Kõue Manor have been fully restored to their former glory, with modern and contemporary technical systems added to effectively manage and utilize the entire manor complex.
The main building has three main floors with a total area of 1,449 square meters. There are eleven guest rooms, each uniquely and individually decorated. No detail is chosen randomly, and each room has its own story to tell. Every room offers breathtaking views of either the manor park or the picturesque forest. The main building also has a ballroom that can accommodate up to 120 guests, a separate restaurant area with a professional and modern kitchen, a wine cellar, a library, and numerous rooms of different sizes and styles to hold meetings or private conversations. Each detail in this manor is carefully chosen and has its own story to tell.
The fully restored stable-coach house, located on the manor square, with a size of approximately 585 square meters, accommodates nine different guest rooms. All rooms have glass-covered balconies that open onto a private forest-view courtyard. The same building houses a small indoor pool, a sauna, and two additional rooms that can be used for small gatherings, events, or retreats. Next to a small pond in the manor garden, there is a charming garden pavilion that is perfect for summer events and receptions.
In addition, there is a stable on the property that has been renovated and can be used for concerts and performances during the summertime, accommodating up to 250 guests. The governor's house and the barn are still awaiting renovation. A coordinated renovation project has been prepared for the barn.
Distinguished to a proper manor house, there is also a beautiful fruit and herb garden. Kõue Manor has received a lot of attention both in Estonia and beyond its borders.
